We’re kicking things off with drinks, light bites, and sunset views by the ocean.
*Princesa is located across the bridge in Costa da Caparica, about a 20 minute drive from central Lisbon.

TRAVEL & TRANSPORTATION
Lisbon is very easy to get around. Uber & Bolt are widely used, reliable and inexpensive.


YOUR STAY
We won’t be reserving a hotel block as many guests are going to be staying in groups or booking Airbnbs- and Lisbon has great options throughout the city.

There’s no need to stay close to the wedding venue unless you’d like to. Vandelli Botanical Garden is a 10-15 minute drive from central Lisbon, making it easy to get to from most neighbourhoods.

We’ll be staying in the Principe Real area (a relaxed, walkable and central neighbourhood)

FAQs

  • Our welcome party is at Princesa, a beach club in Costa da Caparica (about a 20 minute Uber or Bolt from central Lisbon).

    We’ll be on the beach with an open bar and light snacks from 7pm-10pm. The restaurant will be open to the public as well, so just ask the host for the Spataro party when you arrive.

    The vibe is beach chic, but we’ll be on boardwalks and sand, so we recommend flat sandals or block heels. Princesa has a DJ every Sunday night, so while our hosted event ends at 10pm, you’re more than welcome to stay later!

  • Summer formal. We’ll be celebrating outdoors for the ceremony and cocktail hour, followed by an indoor reception in the greenhouse.

  • Our ceremony will begin at 5pm. We recommend arriving around 15 minutes early to get settled and enjoy the gardens
